Author Topic: Getting My Room Extended...  (Read 2757 times)

No, just my dad says bright colours give him a headache, and refuses to let me paint my room with any.
Stupid old man.
Tell him

1. It's your room.
2. A bright colour will make the room look bigger.
3. He shouldn't care.

Red doesn't necessarily have to be bright. You could also take a somewhat darker red one one side of the room, and white on the other. Red and white walls give a very nice effect together. And dark red doesn't give anyone a headache. (What a lame excuse for wanting pastille colours by the way.)

Paint it a deep warm color, like red or orange.

My room has is 1/3rd Dark Gray, and 2/3rds Light Gray and a black strip along the middle. I also have Checkers board Floor in blakc and white, and all my furniture is Black and gray. All the Accents "Clocks, Lamps, Trashcans" are stainless steel, and the trim is white. I also have some Black and White pictures of New York, and other big cities hanging around my room.
I'd feel dreadful in the room, no offense. :c

I don't. :c

Nothing in my new room will be post-dating the 70s in age, and the 20s in style. (Everything will be done in a classical-Victorian feel, with warm and regal colors, and many pieces of large furniture with much decor). In fact, the house itself is several decades old. A beautiful Queen Anne. C:

OH right British, you people like horrible wallpapers and colours.
Atleast we don't walk on the ceiling :D

Make it white and paint one entire wall with this:
