You can't say that 'music nowadays' is bad unless it's opinionated. You can't say mainstream music is bad unless it's opinionated. You can't say any music is bad unless it's opinionated.

Hey, I like a couple Justin Bieber songs. I like some Lady Gaga songs. I like some Lil Wayne songs. Are they my favorites? No, of course not. They're catchy songs, so I enjoy listening to them occasionally.

But get this! I also like Queen, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Johnny Cash, Elton John, David Bowie, and a whole bunch of other oldies! Oh man, isn't that just so surprising?

But oh stuff, I also love Three Days Grace, System of a Down, Green Day, Dir En Grey, Rammstein, Explosions in the Sky, Serj Tankian, HIM, Korn, Marilyn Manson and Tenacious D!

Who would've thought you could actually like songs from both Justin Bieber and Rammstein?

Queen is good. I play Don't Stop Me Now with hldj when we're doing 4 vs 4 with friends on the finale in l4d2. The music 99% of the time will end right at the perfect moment. Don't know why but it usually does.

Now that was the good days. Swing and Traditional Pop particularly were my favorite sub-genres. But Jazz is such a diverse and wonderful style; Spanning for over a century now - And spawned from the great classics, folk, and the blues. Occasionally even Gospel. Jazz encompasses so much meaning and bares so much soul. It, in essence, was a passage to many of the musics that have formed over the last 50 or 60 years.  c:
