This game is 10 years old, but it's a quite good space combat "simulator".
From the developers of Wing Commander, this game has 12 fighter ships at your disposal (you still need to rank up to unlock some ships though), a customizable loadout for each ship (from dumb rockets to guided missiles and EMPs), co-op multiplayer (you gotta use Hamachi though. MSN Gaming Zone is dead), and other stuff. The game's short though: only 24 missions
I've finished it ages ago. I'm managing to finish it again.
