Most likely fake, but it is an amazing story. I put this in games because it is a hack of a game.

Four starters, fourth is ghost. Knows move "curse" which didn't exist in first gen, curse can kill pokemon and trainers. At the end of the game you are an older you, who can only move at half speed. You get killed by ghost while struggling to battle it.
It's a completely possible game hack, but I doubt they sold very many, if more than one.
