Just go to the store and talk to them about it, you're not going to take any legal action, and even if you did nothing would come out of it.
Alright I am going to the store anyways to see if i can replace the graphics card and to fix our family's desktop, so ill talk to them about it when i'm there.
This isn't related really, and I hope it doesn't make you feel bad, but my computer I just built runs this one simulation at 77 fps instead of the max 20 fps it had before.

ok... i have a built desktop that can run crysis at 70 fps the lowest, it has 2 dual core prosessors, and 2 ati raedon 5870's that are overclocked. i run garry's mod on it on 500fps the highest. it cost around 5 grand to build. But that was when i had free time. also, i don't want to take apart laptops because it voids warranties
Yeah then you probably should have got an equal replacement (unless your warranty only covers up to a certain amount). However, Lemon laws are irrelevant because they only cover defective products.I think whats really not fair is that kid not having to pay for a new laptop.
If I read that correctly, you have 2 dual core processors. Why not just get a quad-core and save money?Also, go into the store and bitch and moan about the stuffty laptop. Demand to see the manager.
