Well at least with 3 I can play most games out, I need new processor though :/, I think I will get a Tricore(I didn't even know this existed) so it matches the number of my RAM lol.

It also depends on the version of the RAM; there's DDR2 and DDR3, 3 obviously being the newer one. DDR3 has twice the bandwidth of DDR2, and I have 4GB of it, so technically one could say that I have 8GB of DDR2.

How to check? :o

Please more specific? If you mean RAM, just go in your Control Panel and go on "System", then it will be in the "General" tab.

The only way (I think) to tell whether you have DDR2 RAM or DDR3 is from when you bought the computer/RAM itself. The retailer/manufacturer tells you what type of RAM it is. I got my laptop at Best Buy and the price tag had specs listed; one of them was RAM, and it said, "4GB DDR3."

My Ram is expensive and fail D:, DDR.

Six cores exist.

Six cores exist.

I know that already, but three seems weird. You don't expect odd amounts of cores unless it's one, is there a five-core out?

I'm sure there is somewhere, but it's very uncommon.

Lol my RAM is $35 per GB and thats on Newegg and the cheapest company I could find.

Not sure if this is accurate but for Windows Xp the max amount of ram you can have at once which I'm sure is currently impossible is 128GB of ram.
Wrong.

99% of all installations of Windows XP are 32-bit. The other 1% is 64-bit XP which, is quite broken as far as I know.

Yes, there are 32-bit versions for Vista and 7 too and 64-bit versions.

The difference is the amount of RAM they recognize. 32-bit or x86 versions of Operating Systems can only recognize up to 3.5 GB of RAM. 64-bit or x64 versions can recognize somewhere to millions of gigabytes of RAM I think but I'm definitely not correct.

Bad sign FYI.

I currently have 4GB but for my next build I'm going to have 6GB.
My laptop has 1.25GB, for some reason 256MB is built in.
