Author Topic: Halo Reach on ps3?  (Read 1402 times)

The rumor is false. Halo: Reach is the last game that Bungie is developing specifically for Microsoft. After which, they can make a game for whatever system they want, but will no longer have the rights to anything Halo.

Bungie is a second party company. Which means that they develop titles only for Microsoft.
That's incorrect.

The Halo IP is owned exclusively by Microsoft. It will not be on the PS3.

Something is telling me that Microsoft forced them to not release any game for PS3, and when this is over, they will start.

Microsoft owns the Halo franchise, I'm pretty sure they won't port one of it's most popular exclusives (Halo 3) to it's rival's console.

Because if PS3 had a gaem, Xbox division of Microsoft would go out of business.

Completely ignore my post.

Microsoft owns the rights to Halo Reach now. And Bungie wont make anymore Halo games.

Today is a good day

Nope, Bungie only dev's games for Xbox and PC...

Today is a good day
You realize that means other companies will make Halo games right? Halo Wars.

Completely ignore my post.

Just reread what I said, you took it the wrong way, I never said Halo, I said GAMES.

Bungie made a deal with Activision to make there games better in some way I beleive. I remember the deal involving Nintendo Wii and Ps3, but I doubt it will be released for any of those consoles.

I heard that company is cancer to game developers.

From what source?

From what source?
From half the internet? Robert Kotick (Activision CEO) is basically the Stalin of the video game industry.

Bungie makes good games. Microsoft will get other companies to make games in the Halo universe, with no guarantee they'll be good.

Microsoft owns the rights to the Halo franchise. They say what the game developers are allowed to do; releasing their flagship game on the competitor's console isn't going to happen.
