Sorry to take this even more off topic, but with the new way the bricks are in retail, you pretty much can't make an editor wand that will do everything that the current one does. Bricks can only be rotated by 90 degrees in retail so rotation's out, no scaling I don't believe either.

  But I do believe that there will be some type of create your own brick mod in the future, one that allows you to create a brick in game much like the ldraw brick creation tool works. This is only speculation at this point though, about the ldraw brick creator, depending on how badspot structured some things.

Agree. It's just egoistic to think that there shouldn't be an ew in the game just because you don't like it. Maybe it could be a server alternative, ew or not.

Fact of the matter is that it probably won't be possible to put the EW in, and I can say right now that we won't be working very hard at RTB to try and hack one out. The only thing I'd like to see is the ability to rotate the bricks on different planes, but it's really not that big of a deal anyway. I'm just glad that we're actually building again, and not sculpting or whatever.

also about clans.
i think they are all pointless.

maybe if there was a reason to need to belong to a clan...
some organized pvp ladders.

or maybe help paying for servers. also kinda useless as you dont need a good server, nor a dedicated one at all to host a game.




but if a group of players like to hang out alot, and always build together or in same servers, then they can call themselves a clan.
although none of the current blockland clans are like that...
