It's really good, don't get me wrong about that.
It's just, the overall care and detail, doesn't seem to be quite what I'd expect from a build this good.
How long have you been playing?
I'm curious to know how much practice you've had at this game.
As for the detail, I think it actually has a lot more detail than the pictures show. I had to change all of my Blockland graphics settings to the lowest possible and make it so that the fog showed only my castle and that's it so my computer wouldn't completely hate me. As for how long I've been playing, my BL ID is 815 if that tells you anything. Back in those days there always seemed to be something epic in the gallery and over time those builds seem to have been lost so hopefully I'm starting back up the trend for epic builds.
I agree. The interior seems heavily duplicated.
Then again, I could NEVER do something this good... I just wish the inside was a wee bit better.
As for the interior, I'm very terrible at furniture and what not so I'm glad that it came out the way it did. Plus I wasn't sure what furniture was in a castle that I could put in Blockland so some of the rooms are pretty sparse. As for duplicating, the only truly duplicated object was the wine shelf and everything else I built brick by boring brick. Even the over 1000 books in the library. Every shelf is different (unless I magically built the same pattern on two shelves without knowing.) Plus, one of them opens a secret passage!
I like it a lot, but the curved elements on the towers and exterior seem to make the build... seem less blocklandish... It looks like it came out of another game... You know what I mean?
I do know what you mean, but actually, without the curved bricks this castle would never exist. They were my inspiration for the entire castle and even though they are not used in every part, I started it with the large area on the right of the castle with them and went from there.
