Author Topic: Halo on Atari  (Read 2429 times)

I just happened to stumble upon this and I’d thought I’d share with the rest of the community. Halo 2600, as found on Code Mystics, is essentially Halo had it been on the Atari 2600, at least in the eyes of creator Ed Fries. It’s not bad for what it is, and certainly one easy way to kill time.
Controls are arrows to move and space to shoot – but you need to pick up the gun, which is in the first screen above your starting point. You’ll also snag items like shields and a key. You don’t have up or down shooting, just left or right.
Enjoy!

It was never on the Atari. It is simply a demake.

It wasn't on the Atari, he just remade it to what it would look like on the Atari.

How could halo be on the Atari? The best the Atari had to offer is thirty years before halo was even in stores.

Didn't ET for Atari ruin the Atari console?
