The Sims 3 is screwed

I just got the Sims 3 and world adventures and they work fine. I update them, neither of them run, the base game just says that it failed to initialize and will shut down, world adventures brings me to a blue screen saying that my  computer needs to be restarted, so I do. Still won't work, I go to the Sims 3 Forum and ask them, no one answers, I get an answer but when I click on the topic their site goes down for maintenance, I try un/reinstalling it, the base game uninstalls smoothly but the world adventures runs the uninstallation and just says it's uninstalled, I try to reinstall both the base goes fine world adventures, of course is still installed but won't un install and now my base game is going me blue screen for trying to open my launcher. Is there ANYONE who has any idea what is going on here? If so please help me.

Get a new computer, that is better than this one.

If there's a console or something for this game, the logs could help find answers.

I got this, then I uninstalled some programs that take up lots of space, it works now.

installing expansions always break it for me. And now i can't be bothered to mess around with it so i uninstalled it all.

I doubt it's the expansion packs, you need to have at least 10 GB Hard Drive free for this to work. So go uninstall some stuff.

I have 18 GB free when it's installed, so I think I'll be fine on that subject. BUUUUUT I went to the sims support and they had a live help chat and this employee told me it was my drivers being old, so I'm updating them as we speak.

AS:LKFHASJKLFh Ok, I got the base sims working but now the EP is saying I need to uninstall it but no matter how many times I tell it to uninstall it wont go away so I can't re-install. :(

Try uninstalling it with the windows built-in uninstaller.

I used the built in uninstaller, CCleaner but neither worked, anyone else have any way of removing stuff? I am getting my external harddrive in the mail and am thinking that I am going to put my most important files, etc. on it and do a system restore, I have a bunch of unused stuff on here any way. :s

Sim city 3 Sucks, It only lets you have diagonal Roves, be ably to make diagonal stuff, more windows, and multiple things on a shelf.

Not as good as Sims 2.
