I wish they would explain how they made it "infinite"
The limit will be found in a few days
yeah lolEDIT: Just read on Google that how it works is that it somehow leverages your computer's hardware space. It also says "The IUM's storage can be as big as your hard disk of your laptop or even larger"TECHNICALLY infinite.
My dad was right. Uses cloud networking. Your device stores data on some server far away. Not actually infinite, but huge.
We all must buy one then upload all this useless stuff and get to maximum capacity
The amount of space can probably be measured in units larger than Terabytes.
Someone manages their way into the remote location where data is stored = all your private data is forgeted
I don't know, $129 for infinite storage (according to thread and IGN article title) sounds like a bargain to me. Infinite is a whole lot of 16gb flash drives! Infinitec has revolutionized the world! Even a smart phone can have more storage than today's biggest data centers! Home computers could cache the entire Internet for instantaneous browsing! Imagine never having to buffer a youtube video again, it just loads it off the magic solid state drive of infinite storage that fits in your pocket! The only limit is the bandwidth of your USB port!I have an idea for a perpetual motion machines that uses a couple of these hooked together...
THE WHOLE INTERNETS STORAGE IN A USB STICKWOO
