Two that bother me:

1. A pistol has to be a Desert Eagle 50 Caliber to have any kind of stopping power

2. The proper way to shoot an assault rifle is to hold down the trigger and point it in the direction of that which you want dead. (shooting on full auto for extended periods)

2. "Sawed Off Shotgun"
I swear, these are in movies all the time, and I can't possibly fathom why, they look ridiculous. In real life, they're even more ridiculous than in a movie. If you've ever shot a 12-Gauge shotgun, you'd know that it puts out enough kick to do some damage to your shoulder, and is loud as stuff. Take off the stock and saw down the barrel, and congratulations: You've created the ultimate wrist-snapping arm-breaking machine. A shotgun is pretty damn hard to fire without a stock, but the barrel puts weight on the front of the gun, which reduces the kick. You've got nothing stopping that gun from sending your hand to the moon.

If a cripple can shoot a Sawn-Off, then so can most of us.

Edit: I am heavy weapons guy...

That shotgun in that video has a stock.

That shotgun in that video has a stock.
My other point is why would anyone take off the stock?

To make it easier to carry/conceal (the Terminator)

You still don't know what the forget you're talking about. The purpose of a sawed off is supposed to be concealment, so they remove the stock. READ.

Sawing the barrel down but not removing the stock just creates a lot of unnecessary recoil. In addition, in the first few SECONDS of that video, the guy says directly that it is not technically a "sawed off". That gun is designed to operate without a long barrel, it's built that way.

Please do not continue to post here with that elitist handicap attitude.

I thought you were pointing those out and I was about to call you out but then I realized what you meant.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franchi_SPAS-12#Users
Only four groups use them and they aren't exactly armys.
The Franchi SPAS-12 is so ridiculous. I don't even want to talk about it in my thread, there are just too many shotgun misconceptions people have. I want everyone here to go to their local Dunhams/richards/K-Mart/Wal-Mart and tell me what shotguns you see there, because you will never EVER see a SPAS-12 anywhere. ANYWHERE.

Actually next I'm going to cover autoshotguns.
I say clip, not magazine. It's funny to see gun enthusiasts rage over such a tiny thing.

They both serve the same purpose, which is to put some damn bullets in the gun.
NO.
Did you read the thread? They ARE NOT THE SAME THING, THEY DO NOT SERVE THE SAME PURPOSE. A magazine queues ammo to be fired by the gun, the CLIP LOADS THE MAGAZINE. It's like saying a gas tank and a gas station are the same thing. Jesus loving christ.

No, the Uzi is a submachine gun.

orly? that is a machine gun? its a rapid fire pistol and what makes it that is its design is that of a pistol, you are trying to call that a machine gun?

The Uzi is as big as your arm. It's a SUB MACHINE GUN. It doesn't even have the design of a pisol, you're loving handicapped. You're probably assuming that because the mag is in the pistol grip, which has nothing to do with it being "designed like a pistol", in fact, it uses a BOLT.

Pistols are hand held.
Do you see most people holding a Mp5 in one hand?

let me show you a side my side comparison of an uzi and a pistol

now i just want to say that i agree with everything else, just the machine gun pistols you forgot the uzi

a good point but a ak-47 for example is a submachine gun, and yet it is almost 3 times bigger than the uzi

The Uzi is classified as both a "Sub Machine Gun" and a "Machine Pistol". Which one a specific model is classified as depends on the size.
