THIS WOULD BE GREAT FOR BUTTON BUILDS.

Was funny at first, but now, just no.

How so?
Two events, one for preparation, one for activation. (output and input)

Brick(self/named) > LinkButton
This will link the player's button item to that brick.
OnButtonPush
This will activate when the player pushes the button.

I'm kind of seeing what you are going with chrono

It's like programming your universal remote to your TV.
Hell, if I gave it two buttons, you could set up some awesome chain of events. One button for activating something and one for switching what it activates.

Like

onButton1Press > Self > SetLight > [Player Light]
OnButton2Press > <Named Brick> TV > RegisterRemote

So then when you press button two, the TV gets registered.

Probably very easy.

Something like Destiny's minigame events keeps a list of which bricks you own that have the event, taking out whatever item and clicking makes it happen.

It might be cool for movies and whatever, taking out a big comedy detonator remote and having a building blow up behind you.

Alternately some method to assign someone else's remote to a brick by events, for minigames. An example might be for a fort war game, everyone on your team gets a remote connected to a checkpoint pad to use as an instant teleporter back to the base maybe if your flag was taken or need to heal.

Click the big red button and follow the instructions it gives you.


This requires the newest version of VCE. All you do is press the red brick to set your button, then you crouch and click to press it from afar.

Maybe right click to select one of the named bricks you have?
Like a dropdown menu with all of them.

And then click normally to active that one brick.

No, it may have seemed like that, but I thought he was asking for a button item. You could use an item while in a jeep.

and item that you push and triggers what you evented.
i want a portable button that can activate anything from anywhere.

basicaly a remote control, i would love to see either the ability to block out a message and check it with VCE, or you could just use crouch/clicks and stuff with a loop, another thing that would be nice is to check slash commands
