Author Topic: The console war ends here.  (Read 8026 times)

Honestly I used to be a Nintendo fanboy until I realized how much better PC gaming is than all consoles.

I never play my Xbox 360. I would be playing my Wii, if only my sister's rabbit didn't chew the sensor bar wire >:(
You sir, just won my laugh of the day.

I have a Wii myself, but i do not like the current games, i rather have a Xbox now.
Yes, even a normal plain Xbox...

But in the near future a zombie shooter co-op game and Conduit 2 will be released. :3

Also, more on-topic, console wars only exist in some minds.
Not in real life.

I don't care what I'm using. I just want to enjoy my self.

"Get out! I'm playing with my Wii!"

Also, $ony sucks. Micro$oft sucks. Nintendo was good until it started to suck. They all suck. But they are all a lot of fun.

Well you shouldn't, because if you favor any console you're an idiot because the PC beats all.
PC is a console, dumbass.

Consoles are made for games.

Yay for gaming superiorism! How dare these heretics like the opposite console, they shall be trolled on an online forum for their opinions and beliefs!

Gaming PC's could be called consoles by your definition. And the line is becoming quite blurred now-a-days.

All that's in the sensor bar is two infrared LEDs. Look online on how to make your own. Also, you could just rig your old sensor bar so it runs off of a battery.

Anyway, I own both a Wii and a 360. I rarely use my Wii. No fun games (Brawl is ok, but Melee is better IMO) and I don't have MH3. :(

I play my 360 significantly more than my Wii, but I don't play it that much. Almost all the games I own are FPS's, and those get quite boring after a while (except for Reach :D)

I have a few friends and a cousin with PS3s and those are constantly collecting dust.

But despite all that, I prefer console gaming over PC gaming.

I'd rather play my PSP than any of those other consoles 5 out of 7 days.

How often have you done this?
Also, I attend LAN parties quite regularly and they are nowhere as much fun as console gaming. I guess it's something about sharing a screen or about the fact that you know can't really "customize" your console to out preform the completion that lets you know that it was your skills that let you win. Also, the fact that if you want to go over to a friends house to play multiplayer console games, you just bring a controller. To do the same with a PC, you have to lug your whole desk with you. Heck, even a laptop is quite a bit to bring. Another thing is the banter level. Noone ever talks while they're on PC, but everyone is always yelling at eachother on a console.

People also say that Xboxlive is more "user friendly" than PSN.

I liked the PS3 because I wanted the free online due to the fact that I pay for videogames, my parents cover what I need to survive.
Money has to do with user friendliness in my opinion. I don't want to have to pull five extra dollars out of my ass for Xbox LIVE, but I have to. When it comes to that, I want a PS3. But then again, Reach is coming out. I played the beta, it's loving kickass and I can't wait until it comes out.

I've done LAN parties before, hell I did it at school before, Left 4 Dead LAN game.

I tell you, it's way more fun sitting outside on the second story of a futiristic-looking building with four different balconies, you're sitting on one and three others sitting on the other three balconies, yelling at each other while trying to play the game.

By the way, this is somewhat what the building looks like, but you can't see the other part of it.

Trust me, much more fun than sitting at a TV.
