Go ahead read The Lightning Thief before you watch the movie adaptation, you'll love how it enhances your understanding of the story!

Lightning Thief WTF?  Loved the book, loved the movie.  What does it have to do with Harry Potter?

I love the books but the movies are eh.

The film adaptations of books are always generally different.

Read the 6th harry potter book and then watch the film.
Read The Lightning Thief and then watch the film.

Point will be proven.

I read all but two of the books. The two books I have not read are the two last ones. I have seen all of the movies other than the second one as well.

On a related note, I got Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 about a week ago.

AUGH

The movie changed many parts of the book, and what it didn't change, they ruined. And the producers tried to make up for it by making Percy appeal to all the 11-year-old girls out there.

I found the first 4 movies to stick mainly what happens in the books, so they were much like the first 4 books. 5th strayed away... And 6th, to me, was all messed up.

I've read all of them.

How is the goblet of fire on it :o

For me, Seven is the best loving book.

I hated when Dumbledore died in the Sixth book.
