Don't know to much about the plot but you become a mobster in a fictional city after you come back from WWII. The game comes out August 24 in North America. The demo, I believe, comes out tomorrow. It is a free roam game

Mafia was quite good. Sure had a lot of difficulty in it. This one looks quite good too and I've always liked 30-50s theme.

Kane and Lynch is a linear third person shooter, Mafia 2 is a sandbox game similar to GTA. Mafia 2 looks miles better.

Bad news, the vehicle damage isn't going to be like it was in the first Mafia. Still, this is going to be really fun.

I'd believe it would be out for Steam, PSN, and XBL simultaneously. I only read that on the PS blog though
