Author Topic: Starcraft 2 can forget off.  (Read 13830 times)

Now you know why I hate Starcraft so much, its competitive MP and thats it. No fun what so ever.

I'm not sure because I don't have starcraft II, but can't you just arrange a match with specific people? If so just play blocklanders and agree to have your teammates lend you a hand.

Yuki is bad at videogames

i go 1v4 AI, on med and win as terrain and protoss.
(i cant do it as zerg lol)

If ANY Zerg are on the other team, you have to plug up that little outlet in front of your base. Build all of your structures there and use units to fill the gaps.

Even then, some people easily forget the fact that probes/SCVs/drones can attack just like other units.

If you're terran, just lift up that command center and let the SCV's take care of the Zerg rush. It will cost you a couple hundred minerals, but it won't ruin the game right away.

I save the replay of every game I lose, too. Usually to copy the build order of the guy who beat me, and ways to improve upon my previous strategy.

sc1 was the same bro
when playing againts zergs you had to hurry up as fast as you can to get units

ya if youre playing a zerg they either go two builds.

75% of the time its a ling rush, and 25% its a fast expand which if they do that they are going for roaches or mutas.

...

1. You can set the enemy not only to "Very Easy", but further than that, to have a 50% handicap. That halves all the enemy units' HP and damage.

2. You will ALWAYS be rushed early. It's how the game works. Just be sure to have some early defenses up and running.

3. Read a strategy guide, for heaven's sake.

4. When the enemy is on easy or very easy, attack their main structure and they surrender immediately.

I saw one guy do a really weird build, and got up behind my base with infestors armed with marines. He shot them up into my probes, which forgeted me over. That was the one and only time I've ever seen that build attempted, though.

I was thinking if I should by it or not, I like rts games as well as tbs, and I'm pretty good at them to. All I do is turtle/assault.

I usually go banelings and try to nail down my natural or just go for hydras.  The banelings are very powerful at breaking through supply depots or masses of marines or zerglings.  It can still be used against protoss at lower level.  At higher levels, I find that hydras do the trick against most protoss if I can hit them before they get colossus up.  2 base muta also allows me to harass to no end.  If they go mass rines, I just switch to brood lord + corruptor.  It beats out thors as well.  I can't play toss for stuff though.  I'm good enough to beat the medium comp as toss though.

My cousin was so good at StarCraft I, he was invited by Blizzard to be a certified pro. That's when they found out he was underage.

Mid-game while playing as Terran I like to drop a nuke on their harvesting* line. It's super effective.

can you call nukes off screen?

heh,

something cool i did.

At the start of the game i snuck a drone in right away and hid it, then i made a hatchery and so forth and beat down his forces, eventually i creeped him in and he couldnt get out.

Probably the most awesome thing ever :p. in the screenshot you can see alllll the creep surrounding him
