What did you think about the campaign Yuki?

i find that theres always roads to take..

and if you take the wrong path and the other guy takes your counter youre dead right away.

only thing i hate about it would be that.

If youve been playing you know exactly what i mean.

For exampel if you decided to fast expand youre dead and he decides to rush.. youre dead.

If you try to fast rush and he turtles, youre dead.

so on and so on.

I know everyone says "well just adjust to the situation" but its hard to adjust after you just attacked and lost everything to the guy turtling with one tank".

Oh one thing that pisses me off, are the loving people who sit inbase allllll game, do nothing and then make carriers or bc's. It's like are you playing the game or sitting around for 20 minutes massing BC's? Ive never understood how people enjoy doing nothing for 20 minutes then doing a minute attack.

SC2 is built BY Koreans FOR Koreans.
Wrong, it's made by Americans who can copy Games Workshop and make an awesome copy cat(cinamatic wise). Starcraft is about about rushing and out gunning someone. If you are a turtle. You will die! I can't ever call c&c normal again after EA ruined it.

Some of the missions in C&C3 GDI Campaigns where horrible, specifically defending a base with no engineer, low power and enemies attacking from all sides. I bought C&C Tiber Twilight for the story.

What I like about Starcraft 2 is that just one unit has skill, it always has a chance to take down two enemy units by itself. It really makes battles seem fresh rather then most RTS games based only on huge armies rushing you. I haven't even tired multi-player, I don't plan to either.

It was impossible to destroy a base in the old command and conquer, you had to buy one apc and 5 engineer. Then drive into the middle of the base hoping it stays in one piece and capture and sell as many building as possible.

in c&c i like to build power plants like there no damn tommorow, then make a super turret defense that stretches out in lines, the dig GDI foxholes and put them in clusters of 4 like a square becuase i like to see everything organized

just to show of during multiplayer

Ungodly amounts of power plants + Tons of airfields + Tons of Superweapons = Win.

*Apaches and jets attack enemy base*
Oh stuff!
*various counter measures against the units and eventually getting shot down*
Oh thank god it's ov-
*fires all the ion cannons very quickly
OH WHAT THE forget

I did that all the time, then spammed marines being rapelled from chinook helicopters and a ton of humvees.

Holy crap, you guys are hilarious with your "I suck at it, so its terrible" mentality.

I picked up the game today and got raped my first few games, then I got a Reaper rush in and won and about twenty minutes ago I had a great game, even when I lost, instead of getting mad (like I did the first two games) I looked for ways to improve, and then watched some of it again in the recorder thing. Its a good game, maybe you should go against very easy AI until you have got to the point where you can successfully build a large army within ten minutes or so. You dont have to have really fast micro  to win, honestly I think you could do better if you just thought ahead more with your tactics (which would require you to play more/read up on the units of the race you want to play as) this games great, just put more practice in and start off easy before you start calling everything over powered and saying this game sucks.

That is all

That's totally what I was saying, the whole game is just awful because I was complaining about how I personally suck at this game and how the AI is way too difficult makes the entire game suck. Yup.
YUP THAT IS TOTALLY WHAT I MEANT.

Have not completed, but it's pretty neat so far.

Look up build orders. There are guides that tell you exactly what to build at what time and everything else. It's pretty helpful. For example, you want to make at least 8-10 gathering units to help get you a ton of resources. Then you can go ahead and start building. Also, to beat the computers, pick Protoss (as they are the best :D) and just build a buttload of zealots. You'll win.

I've been playing lately, and I finally got to play Multiplayer with a couple of friends, which I assumed could be fun, but there's a few problems I ran into. I'm not a good RTS player. Lets be frank, I like to play RTS games but I'm absolute stuff at them. I have no loving clue how everyone else gets units before me, and it's starting to piss me off.
Welcome to my world.

Also if they rushed Zerglings

welltharsyourproblem.wmv

i go 1v4 AI, on med and win as terrain and protoss.
(i cant do it as zerg lol)

My friend loves Starcraft, and has always been quite good at RTS games.
You need like 40 people gathering minerals, I always take too long making all the units.

Then again I don't even have Starcraft 2 yet.

You just sprinkle lightweight troops on their base(the cheap ass ones) in hordes at the beginning to keep their production reigned while you build some bigass rocket things

Mid-game while playing as Terran I like to drop a nuke on their harvesting* line. It's super effective.
