I don't think so, magic in a stealthy situation sorta makes your character scream, "HERE I AM!". It's all to do with the giant flash that erupts from your character's hands whenever you cast a spell. Unless you have a 100% Chameleon spell, then you're good to go.

Not an invisibility spell, a chameleon spell. I made a 100% Chameleon spell once... Best time of my life. :D

I just reached 800,000g on the 360 version. The pig was attacking me in the thieves den, so I knocked it out and dragged it into that jail.

Also, 1742 hours in so far at level 164.

It's funny how this is a blatant lie. There is no way you can get to 164 on the xbox unless you hacked it.
