Media is video, smartass. If I was making VIDEOS with 3D animation, it would be considered Media. But nope, everything I do is still.

3d design could be anywhere in media. In commercials, Tv shows, Games, Movies. Same with Photography. I'm sure you have seen billboards. Aren't billboards media? What are on billboards? Pictures.
