Well, when will some else that doesn't do that use most of that, anyway? :c

If you don't use it then you don't need a Droid.

Also I just got another $50 so I have around $130 now.

you might need a few bucks for deposit.
depending on your, or your parents credit.

How much should I be expecting? I think my dad could handle that, but just out of curiosity.

well i didnt think i had that great credit, but i only had to pay 100 bucks deposit.
i know it can get worse, some people pay like 4-500 bucks.

your dad might be fine though. just dont be surprised if they want one. it dont take much to require a deposit.

That would suck if it did indeed have one, because in that case I doubt I would be getting it. That's a damn huge deposit.

you get it back after your contract is up, they credit it to your bills at that time.

breaking a cellphone contract with almost any company means you have to pay like a 200 dollar fee.
so if they think your credit is untrustworthy, they will require the fee/last months cellphone bill up front. (the deposit)
extremely stuffty credit they will just want even more.

I'm sure my dad has pretty great credit, as far as I know he's never missed or been late on a bill. Hopefully that will lock it in.

Oh well, guess I'll see in a few weeks.

Did anybody mention the "speech-to-text" texting option?

You speak into it, and it actually translates from you talking to text on your phone. It actually does it surprisingly well, too.

I watched a 20 minute or so review about the iPhone 4 vs the Droid X, and once he tried that feature of the Droid X, the words came up exactly the way he said it.

It was awesome

I didn't know that feature was on Droids. I always thought that was the neatest thing.
