WarRock was fun when it first released but now it's overran with hackers.

Botz is fun, but still, hackers.

F.E.A.R Combat was one of the best, but now PunkBuster fails.

Nexuiz is fun, try that.

Quake live is good.

TheF2PMaster has some reviews.

WarRock was like the best F2P game I've ever played, until you couldn't find a game without at least a hacker or two in it.

Okay, and I respect your opinion. But I have tried Runescape myself and didn't like it very much.

I LOVE quake live. It does have a pro mode which costs 1.99$ a month, but it's very optional, and doesn't adds much to the gameplay. It has strafe jumping, great guns, and really cool maps.
Beware, the people playing are good. Damn good. But it really made my shooter skills much better. First I used to get fragged every few seconds, and now I can frag about 8, and then get fragged. ^^

Also, Runescape isn't bad at all. It's a point & click mmo game. Not you're regular online WoW game. Also, I liked the graphics :o
