So today when we were driving home, I began to realize how stuffty today's society truly is. We were following a diesel that was smoking to be hell and you could smell it even in front of the damn thing for a while with the windows down. It got me thinking how many trucks like that there might be in the world that are just torturing our world's air.
I've always been a very green person - I love riding my bike versus riding a motor scooter or something, I recycle whenever I get the chance, I love nature to it's fullest. But then I get thinking about the way our society, not only in the US, but around the world, is beginning to slowly forget up the earth. We have millions of cars on this planet all slowly contributing the global warming, and slowly making the air stufftier. We all use supplies and products that were made in a factory that we all know was not energy efficient (except Sun Chips, mind you). I never got why all these damn companies have all of this money that they could invest in making themselves so much greener and healthier and safer not only for the air but for the world.
I thought of something when I thought of this general thing. A wind powered car. Think about it. I thought about how you could simply raise up the car a bit and make the bottom hollow and fill it with turbines and when the car drives down the road, it spins the turbines, stores the energy in batteries and then the car could run solely on batteries. Simply from this sort of idea, the world would be so much cleaner, think of all the harmful processes you're eliminating. You're defeating every component in an average car and the factories they're made in and the materials they use. It's just that much greener.
SOLAR loving ENERGY. WIND loving ENERGY. Wind energy is cheap and squeaky clean. Drop a few hundred, and kill the power plant and you're home free.
And god dammit, I personally believe that the world - not United States, WORLD - is going to face overpopulation in a much more real sense sometime in the near future. When you think about it, if you were to teleport to most most any place on land anywhere in the world, most likely there would be some sort of human civilization thriving there. At the rate we're going, roughly 215,000 new souls are put on the world every loving day. Think of a major city that's close to your current town that has roughly that many people. Think that in the world total, every day, another city of that size is added every day. Where do all those people go?
Just something to think about.
