Wind power is not economically viable, it's unreliable and produces relatively power, the only reason it's about is because organisations and treaties pay producers of power produced via wind and other renewable sources. Also, good luck trying to find a convenient, constantly strong wind to power your wind-car.

But yes, go plant some trees, they'll help a tiny bit and make you feel better I guess.

I had this idea of solar cars.
Gas stations have a flat top where the gas is, right?
What if you put solar panels on the top? it stores energy to make sure that even at night you have energy
And you could also have a solar container, which stores solar energy, so if you run out of solar energy, you can fill your car with the juice you stored.

I remember reading something about how they already have cars that run completely on battery or something, and instead of a gas station you go to a station where you put your dead battery into a thing to charge and take a charged battery, and then the next person does that same and so on. The other station idea was just charging through a cord.

I wonder if everyone in the population of China had one square foot of space in Texas, maybe we could fit all of them in there  :cookieMonster:

We won't be overpopulated if we drop nuclear waste into North Korea...

Put a wind turbine on top of a car. Car moves and makes turbine move. INFINITE POWER

What ever happened to the idea of terraforming and populating the moon and other planets?

Deal with it, guys. It's not going to change. Green energy would be inconvenient to most people. They would have to buy new vehicles and almost completely redo their electrical system, and even right now I believe nobody can really afford switching to an alternate power source completely.

Nuclear waste is hard to dispose of.
When people think NUCLEAUR WASTEE they think of glowing green vats of goo.

In reality they're large metal rods, and they're not even that radioactive, they're depleted. They can be disposed of safely by burying the rods after encasing them in concrete (safety precaution), they don't even need a "facility". Everyone thinks they're going to spout a third arm after being near one because they see all the radiation equipment we use to handle them and that creates irrational panic, they don't realize that the men wearing radiation suits deal with this stuff day in day out, not for 5 minutes.

I mean does anyone know how a power plant works? Do they think we just magically pull energy out of super dangerous elements?

It's a gigantic steam generator.
There's no pollution because it's steam, and radiation exists naturally in the universe, especially on earth (or ANYTHING THAT RESIDES IN SPACE). The sun emits so much radiation we can actually sail on it.

Overpopulation is not the problem; the places where people constantly starve is because of wars, poor logistics, and poor farming harvests. It certainly doesn't help that people in poverty tend to forget like rabbits, but that isn't the main source of the problem. Killing off half the people in Ethiopia will just mean you'll have half as many people that are starving.

So today when we were driving home, I began to realize how stuffty today's society truly is. We were following a diesel that was smoking to be hell and you could smell it even in front of the damn thing for a while with the windows down. It got me thinking how many trucks like that there might be in the world that are just torturing our world's air.

A huge Peterbilt 379 truck probably produces less pollution in its entire lifetime than the construction processes needed to make a hybrid Toyota Prius.

Nuclear waste is hard to dispose of.

Read my posts. It's not very hard to dispose of at all.

Isnt Nuclear Energy actually very clean :o

Agh, voted yes, but I didnt see option 3.

What ever happened to the idea of terraforming and populating the moon and other planets?

They're working on civilization on Mars, I would know, I watch the Science channel  :cookieMonster:
