Author Topic: My Wii wont read discs anymore ;_; (Read 2704 times)

So, I just bought DJ hero, and it worked fine on the first start up. But then, while playing a song, the game freezes and a fraction of a song keeps repeating at a high rate.
So, I put the Wii off, and reinserted it. But now, it won't read the disc anymore!
I tried multiple discs, but none work anymore.

Anyone know what to do? (Also, my warranty is no more D:)

Reset Wii.
I had that problem before and it was due to the game messing up my disc folder.
Reformat the whole Wii to the defaults.

Mine doesn't either. It won't read any discs at all, no matter what condition they are in ;(

I would still call nintendo and check what they can do, you might be able to send them your wii for really cheap. And if you're lucky, they'll give you a new warranty when you get it back.
