If you can smudge a picture to accomplish these results, why not be smart and just make it from scratch? It would be a lot more intelligent and creative..

Because it is a stuffload harder, takes loads more time and I am not that creative. Just smudging one image takes anywhere from 20-50 minutes.

So all you did was use a tool to make the image smudged?
