It seems raycast weapons are generally broken.

Tier Tac
TF2 Weapons
Among other things.

Yes, certain melee weapons are raycasting weapons with very small ranges. I do believe this is cleaner/more efficient than having it projectile based. I think I heard someone say that the hammer was instant raycasting.

Raycasts are horrible things and anyone who makes something with them should be punched in the richard.

then again, the weapon pack i'm making focus on realism, and since the bullets in BL can never really go that fast, i'm going to HAVE to use raycasts....
