Thinking of getting BF:BC2

It took me about 19 hours of online play before I got something that made killing people not next-to-impossible and actually gave me a feasible shot at being anywhere close to a K/D above 1.0

In other words, it took me 19 hours to unlock something that made the game fun.

You must really suck at it. I completely maxed out my vehicle skills and had the Gol Sniper Magnum on the 3rd day I played the game, nowhere near 19 hours of playtime. Shortly after I maxed out sniper skills and then assault, and I'm extremely close to maxing engineer skills. For a while I had a game "Skill Level" of 194. 6 points off of the max.

Also K/D on this game is trivial, nobody I have seen cares about it.

I'm waiting until I can unlock the M14. I liked the Garand, it's the same stats but with a higher rate of fire.

I got every gun,
I prefer the G3 above the M14 but the M14 is okay.

I use the G3 on my engineer class

I can't stand the G3 or M14. :o

On my assault class I use the M416.
Engineer is all UMP-45 (get this gun. srsly)
Medic is T-88 (Because it's the best I've unlocked sofar)
Recon I use either the M95, Gol or VSS Snaiperskaya Special
And my pistol is always the MP-443 Grach

Other then those I sometimes use the Neostead 2000 with sabots and my vehicle upgrade is almost always alt weapon, specially on tanks and attack helis.

Pros: Fun once you get the hang of it.

It can't be THAT bad... if it's anything like the MOH beta, then I think I have an okay grasp on gameplay.

Great enviorment.
Huge maps.
Addicting
Prefectly balanced weapons.
You could acctully hide in the grass in the ghille suits, and no one would notice!

Cons:
Extreme rage.

Overall:
Great game but has a couple of flaws.
If you can't wait to unlock weapons, buy the add-ons. (I thinlk they have them for PS3, I have Xbox)

No. You can see a little triangle over the enemy and you can't go prone so they're redundant.

Magnum ammo is such a cheap ass thing to use, and shotguns too.
