I think I would freak out too if I almost died trying to kill a giant alien dragon-nemesis and he came back to life.

I really liked the game. Played it for 10 hours straight when I got home from work. I don't mind her talking, I actually enjoyed it. but I guess I am the only one :/

You're not the only one. Now that I've played it, I'm glad they gave a little bit of information into Samus' personality. The only thing that bugged me about the game was the fact that you didn't find your powerups, but were allowed to use them at various points in the game.

I suppose that they might have been restricted because of the fact that it was a search and rescue mission in the interest of keeping the ship intact while saving the crew, so they didn't want Samus using a lot of the incredibly powerful weapons that could damage most parts of the ship.

Agreed, I also thought the gameplay was really fun, The bosses were extremely challenging and it felt really familiar and metroid-ey. I think Team Ninja did a good job, there is room for improvement and I hope to see some more out of them.

Later.
Metroid: Other M Plus
Extended and more family friendly
Even if it is a fun game, it simply doesn't feel like metroid to me.

I got this a couple days ago.

I'm on Nightmare Unmasked.

I beat it yesterday.  Time to go and get all the upgrades I missed.  :D

Also, you don't get powerbombs until you beat the game. >:o

Hey guys, played it and beat it %100 in the first run. Enjoyed the gameplay, but as for the story, it's the worst ending in Metroid history...Samus was being very overdramatic as you all probably know. finished my second run on hard, the only boss that gave me real trouble was Ridley; at the same time it was of the best battles in the game. Good gameplay, strange story.
EDIT:Amazingly no secret ending, or any significant unlockable except hard for 100%? I hope Dread's in process...
