Last night felt WEIRD. My enire body except my head felt as if it was sunk into the matress and my head was still out of it. I look to my side and I feel my head turning but my head wasn't moving. I tried the other way and my head seemed to be sideways and I felt as if my soul was being taken from my brain like soup pouring from a bowl. At this point I tried the other side again and found nothing. I then layed in bed for another 30 minutes before realizing that I can't sleep. So I watch some TV. about an hour in I realize I had insomnia. then I went to sleep finally and woke up at about 7:30. So I got a total of 4 hours of sleep!

tl;dr: Body felt weird from numbness but I couldn't sleep so I watched TV and fell asleep with a total of 4 hours of sleep.

My psychology teacher touched on premonitions one time. When sleeping, you're brain uses that time to process information, part of that can be what you expect to happen in the future. So, if you have a premonition, you probably have someway of expecting it, and your brain is processing it.

If your really interested in lucid dreaming this site can be an amazing resource. http://www.dreamviews.com/

and about that mirror thing, the only reason you see something scary in it is because you are expecting to, if you expect something to happen, it will.

I want to dream lucidly to talk to my subconscious.

I have lots of lucid dreams, and I usually can do whatever I want when I find out that I am dreaming.

I lucided dreamed today.

"I'm bored, I guess I'll wake up after this guy gets run over by a car"

And I don't get it why so many people want to have love in their dreams.

There's so much to do in dreams that you can control

The idea of controllable loveual fantasies with no consequences doesn't appeal to you?

In related news, does anyone else think "lucid" sounds dirty?

I always thought it sounded poetic. :o

My previous Lucid Dream, was infact a zombie apocalypse.

I had a minigun.

Then I woke up and noticed I pissed in my bed.. .-.,

Can you do this in the day time? Like during naps?

Can you do this in the day time? Like during naps?

Well if your dreaming in your nap, i would think so.

Can you do this in the day time? Like during naps?

That's actually the best time to do it apparently

I do not know.

------------------------------Dream Below-----------------

(Perspective: Floating Camera): My perspective started as a floating camera after a few seconds. It zoomed in to the back of a soldier's head.

(Perspective: First Person View, Soldier): My perspective changed to the first person view of the soldier. Infact; it turned out to be me when I checked my palm.

(Start of Main Dream Simulation): The Craft I was on made it to the beaches. I made my move for the docks, and ducked my head to evade stuka fire. I made it up to the front of the line. I was handed a mosin nagant and shoved. I ran forward with my Mosin Nagant, and slid for cover.  A commanding officer failed to have shouted over stuka fire, before dropping dead. I peeked out of cover and ripped back. MG42 fire was blazing. They then had to reload. I ran forward out of cover and blasted down one MG42 and pulled back the hammer. I moved back a step, and dropped, a bullet in my head. I was forced to awaken. (Main Dream Simulation End.)

---------------------------------My Comments----------------------------------

After this dream and Kuro's post, I think I should stop playing call of duty on the hardest loving difficulty now, and start redreaming that with a chaingun Mosin.
