Author Topic: RTB Premium Service  (Read 24961 times)

RTB Premium is more "I'd like to help support RTB" than "I want more stuff" so I won't be going out of my way to develop extra things for people who choose to buy it. I don't even want to spend much time making things that only a small portion of the userbase would be able to take advantage of. If you don't have the money to give, then don't bother. It's no big deal and the extra things you get are really pretty minimal.
If people want to donate they will just do it.

Wait, so there's no more world chat? What if you need to talk to someone that's not your friend on rtb? Do you just add them? When adding, does the other person have to accept or can you just randomly add people?
There will be a global chat room.

I've made a post regarding chat rooms here.

I would gladly pay $2 a month for premium RTB.

This would be pretty damn cool. I think it should be on a "tiered" reward system.

E.g.

$5 stardard fee for standard premium access
$10 for moar
$20 for even MOAR
etc.

:D

You missed the fact that Badspot is making money from the game, too.
If you misunderstood me, I meant, a constantly-up freebuild server hosted by Ephi would most likely drive the cost up because he would have to buy service from a server.

Badspot rents a server to host his freebuild I believe. Of course he makes money from the game, that's not the point.

I'd be willing to pay a 5$/3.89€/3.44£ one time fee through PayPal. Monthly fees make me sick.

Just to say that most of the blockland population (not all) won't buy this. I'm not saying its a bad idea, but most of the blockland community doesn't have their own credit card (Therefore, no paypal either).
Okay now, PayPal does not require you to have a credit card to make payments, but it does require you to send them the money in mail or thru an online bank. I do not own a credit card and I have been using PayPal to pay for a whole load of games and my new computer.

This is exactly what I think about it.

And also, PayPal has to available for me to buy anything over the web. I don't pay in any other way.

I wonder about this Refer-A-Friend, Get Paid to earn Invite a friend to join Blockland Club. Both you and your friend will receive a 50 Blockland bonus or something. Here's your personal referral code number or whatever it is.

Edit: that what I give best suggest to Ephialtes.

No.
I would bold what I don't like about your post, but the whole thing would be bold. Blockland Club would be double bolded.

Lets call it Builders Club instead. Oooh, and you earn Blockbux! You can refer friends to get, or sign up for payment plans.. Lifetime should be ~$200!

I've only read about 5 of the server pages, but what if you sold advertising space?

Make RTB modify the serverlist and show advertised servers at the top or highlighted or something.
Just a thought.

I like to go by alphabetical order, and if a friend was advertising, so it stayed at the top, I'd think it was always down.

It could appear in both locations.
