He has decided that it's not going to be a monthly fee. It's also not going to cost $200 for a one time payment.

It's going to cost less than Blockland itself, so if someone payed for Blockland, they shouldn't have a problem with paying for RTB.

How about a building server exclusive to players who have donated?

That would probably drive the cost up more, unless Ephialtes has a spare computer that he wouldn't  mind constantly running a dedicated server on. He would have to pay to host the building server as well as the RTB servers.

I'm quite sure that's what Badspot does with his Freebuild server.

I like the idea. I wouldn't be very happy if I had to pay $100+/month for a server. It's only fair that we (the users) have the opportunity to help you pick up the bill for the service we take for granted.

I like how you're keeping it a free service too, I don't (and I hope you don't) want to see RTB become a pay-to-use service for everyone.

I wont donate if it's monthly, since I don't have a job, and am not currently getting my allowance.
And I don't think I'd be allowed to give money to you each month.

But, if it's a one-time thing, I could work with that.

I would pay up to 25 dollars as a one time fee.

Up to like 4 dollars monthly.

I'd pay up to 15 dollar monthly for a dedicated auto-saving server I could use to my liking.

real clans arent free.
granted blockland hasn't really had that type of clan before.

normally clans have monthly dues, that pay for the site and server.
instead of a group being on a basis of skills and friends. people who pay can be joined.

so are you saying i should make a "rick kids" clan
