CS:S
Mirror's Edge

Author Topic: Damn, which?  (Read 1568 times)

Counter Strike: Source; You'll never play it, but you'll get cool Gmods!

Comparing CS:S and Mirror's edge is like comparing a toaster to a microwave. Completely different games/applications.

but the microwave gets used more, so get that one  :cookieMonster:

Im not comparing them, I'm asking which I should loving buy.

Cs:s. I could play it for hours if I had the time. (This will sound like bragging, maybe it is) Too much time to spend with the gf.

If that post had used grammar that made it slightly less impossible to read, I might actually have considered your argument. Also, everyone that I know who's played Mirrors Edge has absolutely LOVED it,  where as the people whom I know who have CSS either Only use it for Gmod, or tell me that a game called Crossfire is better.
Thirdly, I am now being forced to choose between Aeris and Regulith.

I liked mirrors edge, but I hate how it was involved more about a story than freerunning, because near the ending it's just a run and gun

From what I've seen, the end of Mirror's Edge was just extremely precise platforming. And, it's Mirror's Edge, your supposed to be on more of the flight side of fight or flight, mainly because you CAN wallrun over a guard's head, or slide under a cop, or some other stuff like that.
Btw, I thought people were put off by its LACK of a storyline, not overfocus on it.

Well, it lacks storyline at the start, "You are a runner, go here, then here, then here!"
and then it's "Go down here, kill everyone here, kill everyone in here, escape, kill more people, go somewhere else, ECT. ECT."

Those sounded like the exact same things.

at the start you just run from everything, at the end, you kill everyone

From what else I've seen; (I've seen a lot) the enemie at the beginning can't take as many hits as the ones near the end. If the enemy is weaker, then I think you'd be alot more eager to fight then if you were up against demigods armored guys with Machine Guns. Or ninjas.
