The first KH was great, it was really inventive and cool. The second hit the anime bullstuff fan and spewed overdramatic scenes and poser-gothic stuff all over everything. KH2 was just terrible.
This. Except I wouldn't really call it terrible, just.... Different.
I liked the whole Organization XII idea, and how well it mixed in with the story from KH1. If they just brought it up out of nowhere, I wouldn't have liked it as much. Another good feature that KH2 had was a better fighting setup. Other than the fact that they took away flying :c
Heartless in KH2 were cooler than KH1, too. In KH1 they had very few heartless, and most were just recolors of another one. But with KH2, there was always something new in store.
And the graphics for KH2 were much better than the first, in cutscenes and gummi ship flights at least. And I liked the fact that Sora actually looked cool, unlike KH1 where he looked like a little kid.
Most of the Disney characters I could easily do without... But you gotta keep Donald and Goofy, for sure. Square Enix ain't gonna be swapping them with some FF people. >:o
