Author Topic: Friend Fried My Computer  (Read 3028 times)

you should still tell that mondays to mother to make him suck your richard

lol because you think a virus can cause your physical computer to fail.
No.
The only problem is on the software side. it has leftover remnants of itself that still hog cpu and memory power. Reinstall windows, your computer will be back to normal speed again.

But you probably have no idea what I'm even saying, since you thought it fried you cpu to begin with.

edit:
Not a virus or my programs woulda've blocked the process. Also I have an Intel which is kinda weird though. Intel's are suppose to be "underclocked" so I have no loving idea how it got screwed up.

Edit: Good thing I didn't have AMD or my computer probably woulda've caught fire.
again, no. its not hard for virus writers to make adjustments to their virus to evade virus detection, even if it only lasts a day.

You're loving handicapped. Yes I know software can't physicly damage my computer. My computer DAMAGED ITSELF from opening too many programs at once. My cpu overheated but like I said, I FIXED IT. Try reading before you loving post.

Yea he fried it....
Tells to show you leave Ie AND Firefox and get chrome.

1. I already fixed my cpu, it just overheated.

2. Chrome uses just as much resources as firefox and IE. :/

/agree

Fixed my computer. I popped the bitch open and burnt my hand on the cpu. It was hotter than stuff. Anyways I let it cool off and now my computer is up to full speed.
I say you blame him anyway. A new computer doesn't sound bad :3

the fact that you're cpu overheated means either
1. you have stuff for cooling
2. you have a poorly designed cpu.

I've ran stress tests on my cpu for a solid day without it overheating like that.

why are you assuming your cpu is shot? that dont even make sense.

I already have a kickass computer other than my cpu. I only have a dual core. I really doubt I'll be getting anything from them and it's not like this is worth filing a law suit against. No harm done although I'm still not talking to that starfish.

Did your stress tests include opening 500+ windows of IE? In fact I stopped the process before it even opened more windows. It mighta've been like 1000+.

Overheating from the loving 500 pages of IE opening. DERP
Also try reading the other posts. I fixed it already! I shall edit OP since people can't read.

actually I did that once. My computer was laggy as stuff, but it didnt overheat. clear the dust out of your computer or get better cooling bro

i can tell you right now that the most likely problem at this time, has nothing to do with hardware at all.

Oh how ironic since the problem WAS RELATED TO MY CPU which I ALREADY loving FIXED. Lack of reading ftw?
