I was screwing around on Armor Games just an hour ago, and found a game called [Together]. I'm a sucker for profound Flash games, and Armor makes some of the best. So I clicked it. And played it. It's awesome.
The game's title screen shows a pink girl (yes, a pink girl) sitting on a cliff and looking dreamily up into the cosmos. You click "Play" and the girl looks behind her to see a blue man (whom we can only assume to be the pink girl's lover) is running towards her, as if being chased by something. The girl holds her hand up, and the blue man takes it as he passes, hurling them both off the cliff and into the air. From there, you drift around endlessly, from the darkest depths of the ocean to the infinite reaches of space. There is no time limit, no health or "energy" of any kind, and no way to die. There are several sectors. From bottom to top, the sectors are:
*Unfathomable (deepest sector, has a starting point but no end)
*Abysmal (main part of ocean)
*Stratos (representation of Earth's atmosphere, where the game starts)
*Astral Heights (leaving Earth's atmosphere)
*Infinite Cosmos (outer space)
*Infinity's Midpoint (appears at end of game)
The whole time you're flying, you're gripping the pink girl's hand, hence the game's title, [Together]. Collect different hearts to jet forward in the direction you're flying in.
However, all the while you are being chased by a pixelated monstrostiy known as "The Beast" that will eat you if he gets close enough. Should this happen, you will be transported to a special sector. I'll let you riddle out how to get out of there. In order to ward off the Beast if it gets near you, fly in smooth, tight circles. The more you turn, the farther away he'll be pushed. You will know when the Beast is near when you hear a pixelated rumbling sound.
Have fun.
