Author Topic: Tactics script  (Read 2148 times)

Basically the script would be you press a binded key and then it pops up this:
1. Go Go Go
2. Follow Me
3. Hold your positions
4. Retreat
5. Roger that
6. Negative
7. Incoming

When you press a button it says what you pressed (example: you press "1" a voice say Go Go Go)
and this pops up in you Chat message system:

Note: it would have your name wher Transformer is.

No one uses those, its Blockland not CSS.

Isn't it already possible to keybind text?

yes, there's an addon for it

Better idea.
A set of commands you can issue to bots who are on your "team".

FUN FACT:
I have a TF2 emotes add-on sitting in my add-ons. it's old, and only regulith has it. should i fix it up a little and release it?

As of now nobody listens to the automatic "help" or "i'm healing" notices in Iban's ZAPT, and in Team Fortress 2 most people ignore the similar voice commands there. I doubt this will help.

Yes.
kay, one sec. i need to make the sounds mono and shorten the commands. it'd also be good to make it send a teamchat message.
brb.

Despite only having audio cues for it, on my server when I run the above stated TF2 emotes, medics generally go to people calling for medic.
