Author Topic: Buying a tablet  (Read 1094 times)

Hey there, I'm thinking about buying a tablet. Which are the good ones, and which ones should I not even look at?

Wacom

I have one of the older Bamboo tablets and my only complaint is the lack of a screen

How does ice cream compare to a graphics tablet?

As long as you write the Ten Commandments, I'll be happy. (Pun intended)

I have Bamboo Pen & Touch and I quite like it

Or you could get the forgetin' huge Wacom Professional, your choice

Although a bamboo tablet looks nice, would a wacom allow me to view what I'm drawing on the tablet, without needing to look at the monitor? Or did I miss what 'lack of screen' meant?

You missed what "lack of screen" meant

The regular Bamboo tablets don't have a built-in screen, but Wacom does have some that have them

The ones with screens are way expensive. I have an Intuos 4 medium is it great.

If only the ones with screens didn't cost so much  >.>

Got a nice Wacom tablet from Christmas. Haven't used it that much.
