What are the confirmed professions?

What are the confirmed professions?

I'm probably going to be a 'Badass Motherforgeter', or 'Hardass War Veteran'

IIRC Warrior, Elementalist, Necromancer, Ranger, Monk, Mesmer, Assassin and one other one

I know of necro, ranger, ele, and warr, but  takingituptheassassin is a class too?

Yeah, wasn't it in Factions/Nightfall?

You gots it all rong.

necro, ranger, ele, and warr are the only confirmed for GW2, and they SAID there was no monks.

FFFF I'm talking about GW2, not 1. I know all of 1's classes. I was confus for a sec.

I swore i heard monks somewhere and people said a lot of the concept art and such confirmed mesmers
also assassins but I'm not sure where people got that
I was talking about GW2, saying that assassin was a class that was in the expansions pointing out that all the classes so far in gw2 are in gw1 somewhere

The Necromancer in Guild wars 2 looks absolutley SICK Doom and bone minions together.... holy love

Death Shroud
Death Shroud is a special ability--usable by a necromancer at any time--that utilizes his life force as a secondary health bar. Instead of entering a downed state when his health is reduced to zero, a necromancer automatically activates the Death Shroud ability and assumes a spectral form. In Death Shroud, a necromancer has a number of special skills. For example, a necromancer can summon a shadow fiend, a special minion unique to this form. With the ability to tap into Death Shroud, necromancers are certainly one of the most durable professions in Guild Wars 2.

CC, Ranger or Warrior. I like being a soldier, also support. Both classes get swords or greatswords.
