TF2 dont work for me.

So I just bought the orange box then updated tf2 and then next thing I know is it gets stuck on load?
So I start trying to open up task manager and it freezes up like  crazy and opens up all these things!?
I meet the system requirements...
Edit:Clicking around usualy unfreezes programs for me.

Ok I started a stop watch it takes 30 min untill I get the Not enought virtual memory pop up and my pc is pretty old its a 2001 comp the only thing keeping it alize is the new powersuply and a bunch of upgrades.

I think valve screwd up again with the update just like it happens on garrysmod sometimes.

There's your problem. What are the specs on that comp? I can only assume their bad.

The only time I have this happen is when I try to launch TF2 on my laptop, which is a piece of stuff and can't do any 3D.
