I'm 13 and probably a better example than a furry.

We acknowledge the fact that many innocent people die by criminal and terrorist acts every day of every year, but we don't really have a single DATE to have a memorial for it, now do we? If there was, someone would say "We need a day to remember all the people who are murdered!" or "We need a day to remember the rape victims!" or "We need a day to remember all the natural disaster deaths!" and then, after all that, starfishs like you will come back and say "We have to many days to remember people! We should all just suddenly stop caring!"

You're right. We shouldn't. They're dead. There's no use remembering them because they're dead.
