Author Topic: Cigar Item  (Read 1774 times)

I was thinking of a movie to make on Blockland, and I thought of something.  I just need a prop, a cigar.  Just a brown stick with the label, and a smoke emitter coming off the end (maybe a little red for the burning) and we are set!  Thanks.

I'd have to say no , because of the younger part of the community that plays Blockland.
They ruin all and everything.

I am positive that Badspot doesn't give a stuff.

And neither does any intelligent person in this community.

I have to agree with that.
I mean TF2 has it and that is played by a stuffload of small  , irritating british children.So hey , Blockland should be cool with it.

When I saw the word cigar, I thought of the little tards on the Steam forums raging for a Cigar on Alien Swarm.

But anyways, this sounds like a very basic and easy item to make. Maybe Bushido would make it, ask him.

Made it, if only I could find out where to put the .dts exporter and just get a scripter, it would be a success.

Easy enough to do! I would make it a player type personally and position it to the face. PlayerType_BadAss :-)

thats a dying breed my friend.

If it bothers you that much of showing our youth smoking, then put a warning that says that smoking in real life causes lung cancer.

Agreed. I wouldn't promote it but.. I could give two stuffs about it. But I do like this idea for a video of something "action-y" as a prop, not RPs though.

Hmm.. You DID follow Documents and settings right? If You did then i think your screwed till you get Access.
:/

Code: [Select]
datablock ShapeBaseImageData(MODELNAME)
{
   // Basic Item properties
   shapeFile = "YOUR MODEL HERE.dts";

   // Specify mount point & offset for 3rd person, and eye offset
   // for first person rendering.
   mountPoint = $HeadSlot;
   offset = "0 0 0"; //Adjust accordingly
   eyeOffset = "0 0 0"; //Adjust accordingly
};

There you go.

Let's hope it doesn't give us cancer ingame.
