I believe this is called object tracking
and it looks like stuffty object tracking
Nop.
DAED, why did you post this bro? I didn't even get credits for showing it to you :c
BTW, ARToolKit is for experienced 'coders'. There is no 'make glyph, chose model' option on it, it isn't even a program really, it's pretty much a command box where you need to build it yourself.
BuildAR is simpler. I haven't figured it out yet, but I'm sure I'll figure out in time.
Note: on ARToolKit, SimpleVRML is the only animated model, and it's pretty awesome. Any of the paddle tests are the most reactive, however exview will spit out x y and z coordinates. Rangetest is a freakin teapot :D
And for people who don't care about making their own glyph-model packages:
http://www.hitlabnz.org/wiki/ARTetris That is 3D tetris in AR form. Can't see what shape it is exactly? Turn the paper around and see from a different view. WASD moves, arrow keys turn, space slams the piece down. note that WASD and arrow keys won't change functions when the paper is turned.
ALSO: Anyone wanna try to get the blockhead model on the Hiro glyph :D?
