I once read a book called "The Divide" in the book a spell made one guy turn to like a marble stoneish thing, and anything that touched him also turned into the stone, and anything that turned to stone that touched the stone turned to stone. It just whent on but it ended up that the more times it was transferred the shorter the effect was.
