loving do this.
That's old , Right now we're being swamped by 4 Kresh mammoths

Launch ALL fighter squadrons.
Open a comms channel to your fleet, tell them to focus fire on whatever kresh ship you are attacking.
Once all the fighters are away order them to distract the enemy, away from your ships.
Arm the crew so they can defend themselves in the event of enemy boarding actions.
Oh and open fire on the nearest ship.

I'm with this.

No, not really. It's just some simple tactics, although, that may seem complex for you because you're a dumbass.

I have some more complex commands but I doubt anyone here would comprehend what they really do and I doubt you'd actually use them.

Have the Commisar deploy fighters. If we took a Ymir and 2 Bogatyrs instead of a Rindr and Commisar, we could perform a perfect Thalos Immelman* on the foreground ship, so I guess we'll have to improvise. I guess we could replace the Bogatyrs with the Legionaries and instead of a Ymir's main cannon, the Rindr just fires several torcreepes.

*have the two Bogatyrs charge forward, their shields slightly overlapping and protecting the Ymir from harm. Then at the last second, one Bogatyr goes over while the other goes under, both firing their lasers to destabilize the shields and draw fire. Then the Ymir gets a clear shot to blow its' load all over the enemy's face. Tactics!

You fool. In a Thalos Immelman, the Bogatyr's shields are supposed to greatly overlap, not just slightly. I'm also sure that they split apart horizontally, not vertically. The way the ships lasers are oriented, they would get clearer shots at an enemy while taking on a horizontal stance. Go retake Tactics II, you illiterate baffoon.

You're both friends

BUT I CAN COUNTER.

Since we are not, unfortunately, engaging a conventional enemy, we will have to employ some less-than-conventional tactics. Order all ships to set a collision course for the lead ship in a V formation, and have the legionary charge its main cannon. Time their speed to put them at least 500 meters from the kresh ships when their cannons are fully charged. Order the fighters to engage the other ships, and since the kresh do not utilise fighters (or at least we have not observed them using small craft), we can arm them for anti-ship combat and have them engage the other ships at point-blank range, possibly destroying some. As soon as the fleet is in position order the legionary to fire its main cannon, and have the other ships fire their laser cannons at point blank range! Then break off the attack and select a new target. Have the fighters finish it off if it isn't already dead.

Rinse wash repeat, and alternate which ship is using the main cannon and have the ones which are drained from the cannon use to engage with torcreepes

You're wrong jackass. The Bogatyr's shield bubble doesn't extend off the ship nearly as much as on other ships, getting them to greatly overlap would result in a collision. And since the Rindr is much wider than the Bogatyr, while not too much taller, they have to be side by side to protect it better.. And there are more gun ports on the top and bottom of these kresh ships, so if they went around the side then the ship might give up and target the Rindr. Finally, what with this being SPACE, the Bogatyrs can just roll 90 degrees to bring their port/starboard guns to bear on the top or bottom of the enemy ship. I know this because I've already completed Combat Fleet Logistics IV. Tactics II is nothing, they barely touch on the advanced maneuvers. You probably just took what little they told you and pieced together the rest in your head.

That's what I'm saying, the bogatyrs are positioned horizontally to cover the bulk of the ymir. And haven't you heard of shield extensions? At full power, shields can extend to be 500 meters from the hull of a ship. And thank you very much, but I took classes all the way up to Advanced tactics VI, Battle logistics VI, starship design/engineering V, and War theory V. I know deals more about the first seconds of a battle than you know about an entire one.

I must have misread the part about the ship's orientation but you're still a moron. 500 meters? What the forget are you smoking. Not only is that wrong, but pointless, because shots that would have missed end up hitting your shields anyway. They can extend maybe 50 meters at most, allowing for about 25 of overlap without getting dangerously close. If you really took all those classes then you would know this, what academy did you go to?

I meant 500 meters in diameter, not radius. It was a simple mistake and you jump me like a rabid animal. 500 meters in diameter is really pushing it, almost only for situations like a Thalos Immelmen.

Simple mistake? You loving doubled the shield diameter, that's a pretty big mistake. And you still haven't told me what academy you went to.
