Author Topic: Xbox360 won't play games. MORE PROBLEMS (Read 2847 times)

This isn't my Xbox but it is the one I connect to LIVE with, my uncles. Anyway he has a Xbox360 elite (The black one) and this morning I put in Halo: Reach, it said "Open Tray" So I blow on it and wipe it with my shirt. Still, it says "Open Tray" So I pop in RdR it says "Open Tray" is there something I can do to fix this. My uncle is already having a tough time, his Refrigerator is broke his TV was broke (He got a new one) and his Radio broke. He's gonna have to pay even more cash for a new Refrigerator and I want to know if there is someway I can help with his Xbox360.

Not even 2 years.

My Xbox360 is 4 and it still hasn't broke down.

No, he has only had it for a year. Probably 10 months.

Call Microsoft Customer Support, they'll ask you some questions, and if you don't know, how to answer them.

You might end up having to send it in, if they can't tell you how to fix it.

The Xbox doesn't even really give it a chance to read it. *I pop it in. Close,1 millisecond later "Open tray"

Well I think it has something to do with the laser in the Xbox that reads the disk.
My Xbox had the same problem, but then I gave up and got a Ps3.

After Opening and closes the tray 20 times in a row, me and my uncle are popping caps into cop's heads.

I had the same problem, just unplug the power cords, plug them back in.

Worked for me :\

Shake the xbox a bit. And kick it lightly.

I'm serious. My cousins had the exact same problem, and this fixed it.
