Author Topic: Milkshape Or Blender  (Read 4398 times)

What's funny is you don't even know what Milkshape does. Blender is on 3 vertices, while Milkshape is on four. Atleast, from what I heard. Only the beta allows a cool interface that is easier to control, but even then, it's hard to learn. Milkshape has a simple interface. I do believe some people said the Blender exporter is a bit buggy, but I'm not sure on that.
What you heard is wrong. Blender can use 4 verticies instead of just 3 like milkshape.

The exporter is a LOT better, Ive tried both and milkshapes crashed on me twice :/

And I find blender easier to understand and navagate through than milkshape.

Also, I said that I was able to figure out blender by myself. Dont cross that out because its true, you have no way of knowing whether it is or not. >:(

3DS Max is also EXPENSIVE
And it forgeted up my computer. REALLY bad. :/

I say that blender is better than 3DS MAX. Ive tried both and blender was just more stable and more sleek. 3DStudio isnt a practical program like Blender or MS3D, Its just too much to try and get the hang of all at once.

EDIT: Triple-post goodness.

Oh my god wtf, 3ds max is 3,456$ 0.o

Maya is better than 3DStudio.

But seriously, who cares. Those programs have nothing to do with the OP.

Go with Blender.
