Don't do strange things to annoy people like paint them, block 4x doors, or any of that crap.

Also build him ten default avatars. If he makes his own avatar, approve it. People sometimes make weird avatars with unmatching colors, peices of pirate things that don't usually come together well unless you use all of them, etc.

What are you talking about? An avatar is a unique representation of you. You don't need to make it to anyone's standards.

• If you're not sure about building, go to various servers and look around. There are plenty of good builders and many who can share different methods of building.
