A kid in my town committed Self Delete by jumping off a bridge. He was still alive for several hours after hitting the ground.

Why exactly do you care so much? Just because of it being geographically close? I suppose you should be sad 24/7 for all the other people that die each day in the US, the circumstances are no different if you are going solely on the fact that it happened near you. Then of course you could just be an attention whore, and you and every other kid in your school just wanted to do nothing the whole day, most likely the reasoning.
